“Hello, my name is Ms. Sarah Sackrison, I am a freshman majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I was born in St. Helena, CA and grew up in the Napa Valley. I have always had a passion for business and wanted to pursue my dreams by attending a four-year university after graduating high school. I picked San Jose State because of their exceptional business school and prime location in Silicon Valley. So far living in San Jose has been an amazing learning and growing experience along with studying here at San Jose State. I have always been drawn to the marketing aspect of business because of the creativity and variety it offers. The reason I chose marketing as my major is because I have always had an interesting in studying psychology and design. I feel that marketing perfectly encompasses both those topics. “Hello, my name is Ms. Rachel Yu and I am an International Business student at San Jose State University. I love to travel. The countries I’ve been to include Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea. Because of my love for travel, I also have learned 5 languages: Cantonese, English, Japanese, Spanish, Mandarin. I used to be an animation/illustration major before switching to business which is why I am creative and have an eye for the visual aesthetic. I’m a fashion enthusiast which is also why I want to study abroad in Tokyo and Paris. On my free time, I like to listen to music and stream shows. “Hello, my name is Ms. Dana JaineSalom and I am a Business Administration student, concentrating in Human Resource Management. I was born in the Northern part of the Philippines but moved to San Jose when I was three years old. Coming from a very large and cultured family of seven, my decision of majoring in Business was actually a surprise to them. However, I chose to do Business because I felt that it was my calling and would open many doors. Attending San Jose State was a decision I am very grateful for because it allowed to stay close to home but also allowed me to venture out on the opportunities the Silicon Valley offers. “My name is Ms. Thien Le. I was born in Vietnam and moved to America when I was 14 years old. I graduated from De Anza College with AA degree in Business Administration-General and AS in Business Admin-Computer Information System. I’m currently a senior, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Corporate Accounting and Finance at San Jose State University.
